Help student pharmacists fulfill patient care practice duties
Our chapter of APhA-ASP is interested in collaborating with local pharmacies and/or patient care centers that will allow us to fulfill our patient care practice duties as student pharmacists. We can offer our counseling skills and medication knowledge in "brown bag" events as well as perform glucose, cholesterol, osteoporosis and blood pressure screenings. In the past we have done a great deal of patient education as part of our Operation Immunization, Operation Diabetes and Heartburn Awareness Challenge patient care projects. We are eager to help and to learn!

Please contact Indira S Dupotey if you are interested in collaborating with us or if you would like more information.

THE WALKWAY OF RECOGNITION

Have you been searching for just the right gift or thought of placing your name in perpetuity? If so, then consider purchasing an engraved brick for you or someone else. The main sidewalk at the Florida Pharmacy Association needs replacing. The Florida Pharmacy Foundation has undertaken the project to repair and beautify the sidewalk with engraved personal bricks purchased by pharmacists or friends of pharmacy.

Engraved 4x8 bricks can be purchased for $250.00 each with the donor's name engraved (3 lines available) or you could also purchase an engraved brick for someone you feel should be honored or remembered.

The monies earned from this project will be used to fulfill the goals and future of the Foundation. There are a limited number of bricks available – so, it is fi rst come fi rst served.
